The Festival of Nature returns on the 10th – 18th June 2022 and celebrates the world of nature with a series of walks, talks, family-friendly activities and wildlife workshops.
The initiative will run across the west of England and is organised by the partners of the National History Consortium. After two years of being online, it is finally back outside!
The programme kicks off with ‘Action Day’ on Friday 10th June, where residents, businesses, schools and community groups are encouraged to take positive action to help their local wildlife.
Many people are aware of the simple steps we can introduce to reduce our impact on the environment - recycling, using public transport instead of our car, using sustainable energy - to name but a few.
A recent survey found that, ‘84% of respondents said that a poor environmental track record would or might cause them to stop buying from a brand’. Additionally, 1 in 3 people stated that they have stopped buying from a brand due to concerns about its sustainability.
